Bard Rukal is searching for a mysterious song that he believes is the origin of elemental magic. He believes that this song will allow him to practice the ultimate magic!

Pay Attention!

1. Lu4 is currently in the alpha stage. NPC names and quest item titles may differ from those mentioned in the guide. Some teleportation points might be unavailable.

2. On Lu4, all quest items drop for all party members simultaneously. Collaborating with other players makes the quest easier for all party members.

3. The guides are written with a focus on speed and convenience when completing quests, and Adena costs for teleportation are not important. Ways to save Adena include:

Teleporting short distances. For example, Gludio > Dion > Giran is cheaper than Gludio > Giran directly
Using teleportation scrolls to specific towns, such as Scroll of Escape: Town of Giran NG

Test of Magus Quest guide

1. The starting NPC Rukal Bard is located in the Temple of Dion. Talk to Rukal to start the quest.

Rukal will give Rukal's Letter NG

2. Teleport to Gludin Village. Find Parina in the Temple and talk to her.

Parina will give Parina's Letter NG

3. Teleport from Gludin Village to Wasteland. Go north. Find Casian Elder among the cliffs and talk to him.

Casian will give Lilac Charm NG

4. Teleport to Gludio, then to the Ruins Of Agony. Head west towards Fellmere Lake. On the island in the center of the lake, find and kill the monster:

From the killed monster, you will get 1st Golden Seed NG

5. Teleport to Oren, then to the Sea of Spores. Instead of going inside, head northeast. On the river bank, near the waterfall, find and kill the monster:

Singing Flower of Nightmare Quest Monster Lv. 44

From the killed monster, you will get 2nd Golden Seed NG

6. Teleport to Dion, then to Tanor Canyon, and head east toward the river. Before reaching the shore, find and kill the monster:

Singing Flower of Darkness Quest Monster Lv. 44

From the killed monster, you will get 3rd Golden Seed NG

7. Teleport to Dion. Find Rukal Bard in the Temple and talk to him.

Rukal will give Score of Elements NG

8. Teleport to Gludio, then to the Ruins Of Agony. Head deep into the location. Near the northern gate of the ruined village, find Earth Snake Wise and talk to her.

Earth Snake will give Serpent Charm NG

You can reach the next location on foot.

9. Teleport to Gludio, then to Ruins Of Agony. Head to Fellmere Lake. Find Water Undine on the northern shore of the lake, and talk to her.

Water Undine will give Undine Charm NG

10. Teleport to Gludio, then to the Ruins of Despair. Head deep into the location. Southwest of the ruined village, find Flame Salamander and talk to her.

Flame Salamander will give Salamander Charm NG

11. Teleport to Gludio, then to Ant Nest. Instead of entering the cave, head to the northwestern edge of the Wastelands. Go through the passage at the edge of the location. Find Wind Sylph and talk to her.

Wind Sylph will give Sylph Charm NG

12. Teleport to Dion, then to Cruma Tower. Around the tower, find and kill monsters:

13. Teleport to Giran. Exit the city through the eastern gate. Cross the bridge and follow the road northeast to the Gorgon Flower Garden. Find and kill monsters:

Wyrm Lv. 35 (Wyrm)

Until you collect:

Harpy's Feather NG x 20
Wyrm's Wingbone NG x 10

Harpy monsters are in the western part of the location, and dragon monsters are in the eastern part.

14. Teleport to Giran, then to Hardin's Academy. Find and kill monsters:

Windsus Lv. 39

Until you collect Windsus Mane NG x 10

15. Teleport to Oren, then to the Ivory Tower. Instead of going inside, go down into the crater. Find and kill monsters:

16. Teleport to Gludio, then to Ruins Of Agony. Head deep into the location. Near the northern gate of the ruined village, find Earth Snake Wise and talk to her.

Earth Snake will give Tone of Earth NG

17. Teleport to Gludio, then to Ruins Of Agony. Head to Fellmere Lake. Find Water Undine on the northern shore of the lake, and talk to her.

Water Undine will give Tone of Water NG

18. Teleport to Gludio, then to the Ruins of Despair. Head deep into the location. Southwest of the ruined village, find Flame Salamander and talk to her.

Flame Salamander will give Tone of Fire NG
